JAMES ELLINGTON is a lifelong musician, composer, producer and music supervisor with an eclectic music palette. He has written music for Disney, the NFL Network and Showtime, among many others, and he has worked with and for a wide range of artists, including Grandmaster Flash, one of the originators of hip-hop.
Guided by his collaborative spirit and deep technical knowledge across numerous genres, Ellington has been praised for his ability to find and create the right music for every project — and for the skillful ways he can adapt to any director's vision.
Ellington's latest project is OUT OF PLAIN SIGHT, an unprecedented feature documentary produced by the Los Angeles Times, for which he composed the entire score.
